We also offer SQA approved Sign Language Courses.

  • SASLI

    Scottish Association of Sign Language Interpreters 

    (SASLI) is the only Registering and Membership body in Scotland for British Sign Language (BSL)/English Interpreters.

    BSL/English interpreters facilitate communication between Deaf BSL users and hearing people who do not use BSL. BSL/English interpreters are a valuable asset for the Deaf community, enabling access and reducing inequality while seeking information and services, and in employment, education, leisure environments, and many more.

    We also provide Sign Language Courses to Interpreter level

    We are an experienced awarding body working internationally with a global reputation for quality and service. Trusted experts in qualification and assessment design, we are the national accreditation and awarding body in Scotland and also Ofqual recognised. We use our extensive experience to work in partnership with schools, colleges, universities and industry, within the UK and internationally. Our aim is to make it easy for our customers to offer cutting-edge, internationally-recognised qualifications by providing a level of service that works every step of the way.

    We are approved by the SQA to delived Sign Language Courses to SQA standards.


  • Individual Learning Account Scotland.

    You can apply for an ILA if do not have a degree or above, are not undertaking any secondary, further or higher education, training through the Employability Fund or Modern Apprenticeship, or participating on the Community Jobs Scotland programme. You must also have an income of £22,000 a year or less, or be on benefits to be eligible to get up to £200 towards the costs of learning or training. It’s a great way to pay for learning new skills and because the money isn’t a loan, you don’t need to worry about paying it back.

    We also accept ILA for our outstanding Sign Language Courses.
